The fabric is a silky, slinky rayon faille of jet black. The dress has hooks at the back of the neck, and at the waist, with a short zipper in the skirting. There is a big, floppy bow at the base of the deep V-neck. The skirt is asymmetrical, cut like a big square with deep points along the sides and a sweep up the front. To top it all off, there is an embroidered G on the front ribbon trailing from the bow. The embroidery is as beautiful from the back as it from the front so I suspect it was hand done.
